Arcivéo Monitor can be installed in two ways. Choose the one that suits you — and a full step-by-step guide will open: every command needed to launch the dashboard is gathered on a single page, just scroll top to bottom. The FAQ remains a reference for security tools, modules and diagnostics.

Choose an installation method

Automatic recommended
A single script from your account provisions the whole server: web stack, database, security tools and cron. After that — just deploy the panel, issue an SSL certificate and enter your license. Fast; for Ubuntu/Debian — both a fresh VPS and an already-configured server (which has its own profile in the script).

Manual
Full control: VPS setup, web server and vhost, database, SSL and every tool — step by step, by hand. No account token. A good fit if the server is already configured or you want to keep everything under control.

Important note on the commands (both methods). The examples use placeholder values — replace them with your own:
  • 203.0.113.10 — example IP (non-existent, for documentation) → your real server IP;
  • monitor.example.com — your domain;
  • deploy — your username;
  • www-data — your web server's user;
  • /var/www/monitor (in the FAQ — /path/to/monitor) — the panel root on the server (the directory holding public/, assets/, config.php); on a server with a hosting panel this may be, e.g., /home/USER/web/YOUR_DOMAIN/public_html;
  • monitor_db, monitor_user, CHOOSE_A_PASSWORD — the database name, DB user and password that you set yourself.
Not sure? Go with automatic — it installs everything for you. You can always switch to manual later if you need fine-tuning.
